Consultant Marketing (100%)
In this role, you will lead the development and execution of McDonald's Switzerland's national brand, food promotional campaigns and always on trust communications ensuring they strengthen brand relevance and drive business growth. You will shape communication strategies, translate consumer insights into compelling creative platforms and manage agency partners to deliver impactful, integrated campaigns. You will be the owner of multi-million Swiss Franc campaigns from brief design all the way through to delivery of these campaigns in our restaurants and media. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will put the customer at the heart of every decision, will champion creative excellence, ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints, and help identify opportunities to keep McDonald's culturally relevant and connected to Swiss consumers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of national brand, trust and food promotional campaigns from brief to launch.
- Own the customer – understand their needstates, behaviours and what will connect with them
- Shape creative communication strategies that are insight and data driven
- Be passionate about creative excellence – know the best practices of developing great creative
- Manage and inspire the creative agency, ensuring high-quality, on-brand campaign execution.
- Collaborate closely with media, digital and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful 360° campaigns.
- Translate consumer insights and business objectives into compelling creative briefs.
- Manage campaign timelines, budgets and stakeholder alignment.
- Evaluate campaign performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Stay connected to consumer and cultural trends to ensure campaigns remain relevant and impactful.
What You Need to be Successful
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing and leading marketing campaigns from strategy through execution. Preference for retail, FMCG, Global brands
- Proven experience working with creative and media agencies and managing large integrated campaigns across a number of channels
- Strong understanding of brand building, consumer behavior and marketing communications.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills; you must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage multiple campaigns at different lifestages
- Strong creative judgment with the ability to challenge and inspire agencies.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
- Self-starter & connector: comfortable working autonomously, building strong relationships and collaborating cross-functionally.
- Strong knowledge of the Swiss market and Swiss Culture
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Languages: Fluent in German, French and English
