We're looking for a creative and digitally minded Social Media Intern to join our Global Communications Social Media team. In this role, you'll support the development of engaging content for PMI's corporate social media channels and InsideOut, our employee advocacy platform. You'll gain practical experience across content creation, social media trends, and content performance insights.

Your Day-to-Day

• Monitor social media trends, emerging formats, and platform developments, identifying opportunities relevant to our content strategy.
• Research social media best practices, competitor activities, and content trends.
• Support the team with day-to-day social media activities and broader projects as required.
• Create and edit short-form videos and other engaging content for social media.
• Design social media graphics, thumbnails, and visual assets.
• Write and adapt engaging copy for InsideOut and other social media content.
• Repurpose existing content into social-first formats tailored to different platforms and audiences.

Who We're Looking For

• Good understanding of major social media platforms and the content formats used across them.
• Strong interest in digital culture, social media trends, and emerging content formats.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and visual storytelling skills.
• Good organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Experience creating and editing video content, particularly short-form social media content.
• Experience in graphic design and creating engaging digital or social media assets.
• Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create clear, concise, and engaging content.
• Familiarity with video editing and design tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Express, or similar.
• Comfortable working collaboratively, taking feedback, and developing ideas with others.
• Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics would be an advantage.
• A portfolio or examples of previous video, design, or social media work would be an advantage.
