Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analytics Group Manager to lead analytics strategy, customer insights, and business performance initiatives for partnership Cards business. This role requires a strong leader with expertise in Business Analytics, Product Analytics, Customer Behavior Analytics, Marketing Analytics, and Revenue Management within the Banking and Financial Services domain. The successful candidate will drive data-driven decision-making, develop innovative analytical solutions, lead high-performing teams, and partner with senior stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes across consumer and commercial Credit Card, Co-brand, and Private Label portfolios.
This leader will be accountable for translating advanced analytics into actionable business strategies that deliver substantial revenue growth through compelling leadership while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence across the organization
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Analytics
- Develop and implement analytical frameworks to solve complex business challenges.
- Generate actionable insights through advanced analysis of customer behavior, portfolio performance, and market trends.
- Drive strategic recommendations to improve business performance, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
- Translate analytical findings into impactful business stories for senior leadership.
Customer & Product Analytics
- Lead analytics initiatives across Credit Cards, Co-brand, and Private Label products.
- Analyze customer acquisition, engagement, spending behavior, retention, and profitability.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize customer lifecycle management.
- Partner with Product and Marketing teams to improve campaign effectiveness and portfolio growth.
Marketing & Revenue Analytics
- Drive Marketing Analytics initiatives to evaluate campaign performance and customer response.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth and portfolio optimization.
- Develop customer segmentation and targeting strategies using analytical insights.
- Measure performance of acquisition, activation, and retention programs.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and mentor a team of analytics professionals.
- Establish best practices for analytical methodologies, reporting, and quality control.
- Build a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Manage hiring, coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
Innovation & Advanced Analytics
- Promote the use of Artificial Intelligence and advanced analytical techniques to transform business decision-making.
- Drive adoption of new tools, technologies, and analytical methodologies.
- Identify automation opportunities and improve analytical efficiency.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with senior business leaders and cross-functional teams to drive common business goals.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by providing data-driven recommendations and strategic guidance.
- Influence key decisions through compelling storytelling and executive presentations.
Risk & Governance
- Assess and manage business risks associated with analytical recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and governance standards.
- Maintain robust controls and transparency across analytical processes.
Required Qualifications
- 14+ years of experience in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Customer Analytics, Product Analytics, or Marketing Analytics.
- Strong experience within Banking, Credit Cards, Consumer Lending, Payments, or Financial Services.
- Proven track record of leading large analytics teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Experience delivering strategic insights that drive business growth and customer outcomes.
