The Grocery People (TGP) are hiring a Part-Time Administrative Assistant onsite for the TGP Warehouse in Kamloops, BC.
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to help keep our team connected, efficient, and focused on what matters most.
What you’ll do:
- Provide administrative support through data entry, document preparation, account setup, filing, office supply management, and maintenance of paper and electronic records.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support Sales and Warehouse teams by processing customer orders, managing invoices, credits, returns, and communicating order updates.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient office environment by performing housekeeping duties, monitoring equipment, and promoting compliance with health and safety standards.
Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Administration and:
- Grade 12 diploma or GED required; previous experience in an office or administrative environment is considered an asset.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
Who you’ll work with:
The Team: You will work closely with the Supervisor, maintaining daily communication regarding notices, updates, and operational changes that impact the location.
