This position can be remote; however, if you reside near our offices in Menomonee Falls, WI, or New York City, NY, we request that you work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

About the Role

As Manager, MarTech Strategy, Capabilities & Innovation (RMN, Media Sales & AdTech), you will lead the strategy, capability design and technology evolution that enable Kohl’s Retail Media Network (KMN). You will shape the end-to-end KMN and AdTech ecosystem, from media sales enablement and inventory management through campaign execution, measurement, attribution and advertiser reporting.

What You’ll Do

Lead the definition, design, planning, implementation and measurement of cross-functional Retail Media Network (RMN) and AdTech initiatives
Translate retail media business goals, advertiser needs, operational pain points and growth opportunities into requirements, use cases, process flows, success criteria and future-state capability designs
Shape the end-to-end RMN technology architecture across sales and pre-sales, media planning, product catalog and rate cards, inventory availability and reservation, order management, campaign trafficking and execution, billing and reconciliation, measurement, attribution and advertiser reporting
Partner with cross-functional teams to align priorities, operating models, process changes and technology decisions
Identify capability, process, data and ecosystem gaps; develop recommendations that improve automation, scalability, interoperability, campaign quality and advertiser experience
Evaluate AdTech platforms, vendors and emerging technologies, including CRM/CPQ, retail media platforms, order management systems, ad servers, demand-side platforms, onsite media solutions, clean rooms, measurement and attribution tools
Define integration and data requirements across internal and external platforms, including media channels, ad servers, data warehouse platforms and advertiser-facing reporting solutions
Establish governance principles, design standards and decision frameworks for RMN technology initiatives; provide oversight through design, build, testing and launch to ensure solutions meet business intent and measurable outcomes
Support performance visibility and value-realization measures, including media revenue, campaign delivery, yield, utilization, operational efficiency, advertiser adoption, measurement quality and incremental business impact
Support roadmap development and prioritization for RMN capabilities, balancing near-term business needs with long-term platform scalability and sustainability
Coach and guide aligned team members and partners, strengthening discovery, documentation, analysis, recommendations and execution across the RMN and AdTech domain

What Skills You Have

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, MIS, Information Systems, Analytics or a related field
3+ years of experience leading cross-functional technology, product, operations or transformation initiatives with increasing responsibility
3+ years of direct experience designing and implementing end-to-end RMN, AdTech, Media Monetization and or media operations tech stacks (e.g., Ad Servers, RMN platforms, Criteos, DSPs, Data Clean Rooms, SF Media Cloud, etc.)
3+ years of relevant experience designing Closed-Loop Attribution & ROAS frameworks and Data Clean Room integrations for privacy-safe audience targeting
3+ years of relevant experience with Yield Management and Media Inventory Optimization to support media revenue growth alongside technical delivery
Experience translating business and operational needs into technology requirements, use cases, process flows and future-state designs
Understanding of the retail media ecosystem, including onsite, offsite and/or in-store media; campaign lifecycle; media inventory; advertiser reporting; and measurement or attribution
Strong ability to work across business, technical and operational stakeholders and communicate complex concepts clearly

Preferred

Experience with platforms such as Salesforce Media Cloud or similar media-sales platforms, CRM/CPQ, order management systems, ad servers, DSPs, onsite sponsored-product/display platforms, clean rooms, data warehouse platforms and BI/reporting tools
Experience with media inventory management, insertion orders, campaign trafficking, third-party media activation, billing/reconciliation and revenue-recognition processes
Experience with retail media measurement, attribution, audience activation, privacy-safe data collaboration and advertiser reporting
Experience working in retail, e-commerce, media, agency or marketplace environments
