Insight Global Consulting's Talent Services Practice is seeking a Solution Architect to join our Solution team. This is a pre-sales, client-facing role for an experienced consultant who excels at building creative solutions to complex business challenges and translating them into compelling, winning proposals.  

Reporting to the Director of Solutions, you will own the pursuit lifecycle— evaluating opportunities, shaping solutions, developing proposals, and presenting to prospective clients. You will play a central role in selling and closing deals and will be accountable for the financial performance from sales through implementation.  

This role is critical in:  

• Architecting differentiated, outcome-driven solutions that solve clients' most complex talent challenges and set our proposals apart 

• Winning and closing net-new engagements — owning the pursuit and directly driving revenue growth and financial performance. 

• Serving as the connective tissue between sales, solutions, and delivery — ensuring what we sell is what we deliver. 

• Maturing existing service offerings and operationalizing new ones to expand what the Practice can profitably bring to market. 

• Elevating the broader Solution team through thought leadership and mentorship. 

Sales, Solution Design, & Proposal Development  

• Serve in a Pre-Sales / Sales Engineer capacity, guiding prospective clients through Talent Service capabilities, solution design, and proposed business outcomes.  

• Partner regularly with Insight Global Consulting Sales to evaluate, prioritize, and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities introduced by the sales team, ensuring each pursuit is thoughtfully shaped and advanced through the solutioning process.  

• Lead scoping activities to assess client requirements and confirm alignment to existing Talent Service capabilities.  

• Translate technical and business requirements into clear, client-ready language and future-state solutions.  

• Build clear, compelling, and client-ready proposals that articulate the recommended solution, proposed approach, implementation roadmap, SOW components, commercial options, and expected business outcomes  

Required Skills & Experience  

• Demonstrated success managing a pipeline of active pursuits and selling professional or managed services effectively.  

• Proven pre-sales / sales engineering experience, with a track record of developing proposals, SOWs, and cost models.  

• Understanding of broader Insight Global or partner ecosystems, and knowledge of the key business drivers that accelerate or prevent desired organizational outcomes.  

• Ability to translate abstract business challenges into structured, value-driven solutions.  

• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and strategic storytelling capabilities.  

• Experience engaging senior stakeholders to assess needs, shape solutions, and drive outcomes.  

• Experience designing and maturing service offerings within professional services, managed services, recruitment/talent management, or project management.  

• Strong communication skills, executive presence, and strategic storytelling ability to clearly articulate value creation, build credibility with prospective clients, and effectively sell the proposed solution across internal and client-facing audiences.  

• Working understanding of the delivery side, ensuring proposed solutions are operationally sound and scalable.  

Preferred Qualifications  

• Experience in professional services environments or program/project management.  

• Proven success in revenue-generating or client-facing consulting roles.  

• Familiarity with managed service delivery models and outcome-based commercial structures (fixed-fee, per-unit, and SLA/KPI-driven engagements).
