Job Description
The Opportunity
We are looking for enthusiastic & passionate Culinary Interns to join our team at Banyan Tree Dubai.
This is an exciting opportunity for culinary students looking to gain hands-on experience in a luxury hotel environment, develop their culinary skills & discover the art of creating exceptional dining experiences.
Working alongside our experienced Culinary team, you will gain valuable exposure to professional kitchen operations, diverse cuisines & the creativity, precision & attention to detail that define luxury hospitality.
Possible Start Date: February 2027
What You'll Be Doing
Assist the Culinary team with daily food preparation, cooking & presentation across our dining outlets.
Learn & apply professional cooking techniques, kitchen procedures & luxury hospitality standards.
Support chefs in preparing high-quality dishes using fresh ingredients & established recipes.
Gain exposure to different kitchen sections, cuisines & culinary techniques.
Assist with mise en place, ingredient preparation & kitchen organisation.
Follow food safety, hygiene & HACCP standards at all times.
Maintain cleanliness, organisation & proper handling of kitchen equipment.
Work collaboratively with chefs & colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Participate in culinary training & development opportunities throughout your internship.

Qualifications
Who We're Looking For
Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Culinary Management, Hospitality Management or a related field.
A genuine passion for cooking, food preparation & the culinary arts.
A positive attitude, willingness to learn & enthusiasm for working in a professional kitchen.
Basic knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients & food safety practices would be an advantage.
Good communication skills in English.
A team player who enjoys working in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
Creativity, attention to detail & a willingness to explore different cuisines & cooking techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of quality & hygiene.
Previous culinary or kitchen experience is an advantage but not essential.
