Regional Retail Field Force, Senior Manager (Korean Speaking)

Position Summary

As the Senior Manager & Head of Regional Retail Field Force, you will lead Field Force strategy and operations across Southeast Asia & Oceania (SEAO), strengthening retail execution, workforce productivity and in-store performance across the region.

Working closely with local subsidiaries, regional stakeholders and external agency partners, you will translate business priorities and market insights into practical operating strategies, performance frameworks and capability standards.

Role and Responsibilities

Regional Field Force Strategy & Leadership

Develop and drive regional Field Force strategies aligned with business priorities, market dynamics and retail execution requirements.
Translate regional objectives into operating frameworks, policies and guidelines that help subsidiaries optimize Field Force coverage, deployment, resource allocation and productivity.
Partner with subsidiary Retail and Field Force leaders to align regional priorities, address operational challenges and drive continuous improvement.

Performance Management, Data & Insights

Establish and oversee regional Field Force KPIs and performance management frameworks linked to retail execution and sell-out objectives.
Review subsidiary performance, identify gaps and root causes, and guide local teams in developing corrective action plans.
Analyze Field Force and retail execution data to identify trends, prioritize key performance drivers and recommend actionable improvements.
Strengthen regional reporting, dashboards and performance review processes while guiding subsidiaries in improving data quality and data-driven decision-making.

Agency Management & Operational Governance

Lead regional governance and performance management of Field Force agencies and outsourced service providers.
Establish agency operating standards, service requirements, KPIs and scorecards to drive productivity, execution quality and cost effectiveness.
Evaluate agency performance and work with subsidiaries and agency partners to address gaps and improve service delivery.
Contribute to agency selection, evaluation and operating model improvements where required, balancing effective partnerships with clear accountability.

Field Force Capability & Organization Development

Define regional Field Force role profiles, organizational guidelines and competency standards based on business and market needs.
Establish guidelines for recruitment, onboarding, training, grading, incentives and performance management.
Identify capability gaps and work with subsidiaries to develop improvement initiatives that strengthen workforce effectiveness and retail execution.
Share best practices and promote consistent capability and performance standards across markets.

VMD & In-store Execution

Provide regional operational guidance and oversight for VMD execution, retail fixtures and in-store display management across Mobile and Consumer Electronics categories.
Guide subsidiaries and Field Force teams in executing merchandising standards, product displays, point-of-sale materials (POSM) and retail campaigns.
Oversee operational processes for retail fixtures, display assets and in-store equipment, including deployment, utilization, maintenance and lifecycle management.
Use field observations and retail performance data to identify execution gaps and drive improvements in store presentation, brand consistency and customer experience.
Drive Field Force readiness and in-store execution for new product launches and key retail campaigns, working closely with subsidiaries and relevant stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications & Experience

Significant experience in Retail Operations, Field Force Management or related functions, preferably in Consumer Electronics, Mobile, FMCG, Telecom, IT or other consumer-facing industries with large-scale retail operations.
Strong hands-on experience in Field Force operations, with the ability to translate on-the-ground insights into regional strategies, operating frameworks and execution guidelines.
Proven experience managing Field Force strategy, deployment, productivity and performance across multiple markets or large-scale operations.
Strong analytical capabilities, including experience managing operational data, establishing KPIs, identifying performance gaps and driving measurable improvements.
Experience managing or working closely with Field Force agencies and outsourced service providers, with a good understanding of agency performance management, operational KPIs and governance.
Practical experience in VMD and in-store execution for Mobile and/or Consumer Electronics products, including retail fixtures, displays and related assets.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and guide local market teams in a regional or matrix organization.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn business priorities and field insights into practical, sustainable improvements.
Fluency in both English & Korean language (both written and verbal) for professional business communication and to support specific regional operations, management coordination, and reporting

Preferred Experience

Experience in a regional role covering multiple countries or markets.
Experience leading a sizable Retail, Field Force or Sales Operations organization.
Experience working directly with senior subsidiary management and regional leadership.
Experience managing large-scale outsourced Field Force operations and agency contracts.
Exposure to both Mobile and Consumer Electronics retail environments.
Experience leading organizational transformation, operating model redesign or major productivity improvement initiatives.
