Service Operations ist eine zentrale Technologieeinheit innerhalb von Technology, Data & Innovation (TDI) der Deutsche Bank Private Bank.

Der Bereich verantwortet die Entwicklung, Bereitstellung und den Betrieb geschäftskritischer Anwendungen, Plattformen und Technologielösungen zur Unterstützung der operativen Kernprozesse der Private Bank. Dabei spielt Service Operations eine zentrale Rolle bei der Transformation der Operations-Landschaft durch die Modernisierung von Anwendungsarchitekturen, die Digitalisierung und Automatisierung von Prozessen sowie den Einsatz von AI-gestützten Technologien.

An der Schnittstelle zwischen Business, Operations und Technologie verantwortet Service Operations die Umsetzung großer Transformationsinitiativen, unterstützt die Weiterentwicklung des Private Bank Target Operating Models und sowie gleichzeitig die Stabilität, Resilienz und Effizienz der Technologielösungen entlang der End-to-End-Prozesslandschaft.

Als Teil des Führungsteams von Service Operations verbindet diese Position die Steuerung strategischer Transformationsinitiativen mit der operativen Verantwortung mit der operativen Verantwortung für ein umfangreiches Veränderungs- und Technologieportfolio der Private Bank.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Strategische Transformationsinitiativen und geschäftskritische Veränderungsvorhaben innerhalb der Private Bank steuern und erfolgreich vorantreiben

• Die übergreifende Technologieumsetzung eines neuen Betriebsmodells über mehrere Projekte und Arbeitsbereiche hinweg koordinieren

• Verantwortung für integrierte Programm-, Ressourcen- und Finanzplanung sowie für Governance, Fortschrittskontrolle und Management-Berichterstattung übernehmen

• Umsetzungsrisiken frühzeitig erkennen, Handlungsbedarfe ableiten und geeignete Maßnahmen zur Steuerung initiieren

• Den Aufbau einer internationalen Organisation sowie die Entwicklung von Zielbildern und organisatorischen Strukturen in Deutschland, Rumänien und Indien mitgestalten

• Führungskräfte und Stakeholder aus Business, Operations und Technologie zusammenbringen, um Prioritäten, Abhängigkeiten und Umsetzungspläne wirkungsvoll abzustimmen

Ihre Fähigkeiten und Erfahrungen

• Nachgewiesene Kompetenz in der Steuerung komplexer Technologie-, Transformations- oder Veränderungsprogramme im Finanzdienstleistungsumfeld

• Fundierte Kenntnisse in Programm- oder Portfoliomanagement, Finanzplanung, Governance, Risikomanagement und Management-Berichterstattung

• Ausgeprägte Fähigkeit, unterschiedliche Interessen zusammenzuführen und komplexe Stakeholder-Landschaften souverän zu steuern

• Strategisches und analytisches Denken kombiniert mit einer strukturierten, lösungs- und ergebnisorientierten Arbeitsweise

• Verhandlungssichere Kommunikation auf Englisch; Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil

• Hochschulabschluss in Betriebswirtschaft, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Informatik oder Volkswirtschaft beziehungsweise eine vergleichbare Qualifikation

• Nachweislich effektiver Einsatz von KI-Tools, um Produktivität zu erhöhen, Prozesse zu optimieren und Geschäftsprobleme zu lösen, verbunden mit fundierten Entscheidungen und einem verantwortungsvollen sowie gewissenhaften Umgang mit Daten und KI-Ergebnissen

Details of the role and how it fits into the team

Service Operations is a central technology unit within Technology, Data & Innovation (TDI) of Deutsche Bank’s Private Bank.

The division is responsible for the development, delivery and operation of business-critical applications, platforms and technology solutions supporting Private Bank’s core operational processes. Service Operations play a central role in the transformation of the operations landscape through the modernization of application architectures, the digitalization and automation of processes, and the use of AI-enabled technologies.

At the intersection of Business, Operations and Technology, Service Operations is responsible for the delivery of major transformation initiatives, supports the further development of the Private Bank Target Operating Model, while also supporting the stability, resilience and efficiency of technology solutions across the end-to-end process landscape.

As part of the Service Operations leadership team, this role combines the management of strategic transformation initiatives with operational responsibility for a substantial change and technology portfolio within the Private Bank.

Your key responsibilities

• Manage and successfully drive strategic transformation initiatives and business-critical change programmes within the Private Bank

• Coordinate the overarching technology implementation of a new operating model across multiple projects and workstreams

• Take responsibility for integrated programme, resource and financial planning, as well as governance, progress monitoring and management reporting

• Identify delivery risks at an early stage, determine required actions and initiate appropriate measures to manage them

• Help shape the establishment of an international organisation as well as the development of target operating models and organisational structures in Germany, Romania and India

• Bring together senior leaders and stakeholders from Business, Operations and Technology to effectively align priorities, dependencies and implementation plans

Your skills and experiences

• Demonstrated expertise in managing complex technology, transformation or change programmes within the financial services industry

• In-depth knowledge of programme or portfolio management, financial planning, governance, risk management and management reporting

• Strong ability to align different interests and confidently manage complex stakeholder landscapes

• Strategic and analytical thinking combined with a structured, solution-oriented and results-driven approach

• Business-fluent English communication skills; German language skills are an advantage

• University degree in Business Administration, Business Information Systems, Computer Science or Economics, or a comparable qualification

• Demonstrated effective use of AI tools to increase productivity, optimise processes and solve business problems, combined with sound decision-making and the responsible and diligent handling of data and AI-generated results
