Job Purpose: The Shift Engineer is responsible for supporting the Shift Incharge in managing and overseeing all operational activities during the assigned shift in iron ore mining. This role involves closely monitoring equipment performance, assisting in the coordination of drilling, blasting, loading, and transportation activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The Shift Engineer plays a crucial role in executing the mining plan, resolving operational issues, and providing technical support to the shift team.
The Shift Incharge is responsible for managing and overseeing all mining operations during their assigned shift in iron ore mining. This role involves ensuring the smooth execution of drilling, blasting, loading, and transportation activities, maintaining safety and operational standards, and coordinating with various teams to achieve production targets. The Shift Incharge is also responsible for addressing any operational issues that arise during the shift, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining effective communication with other shift teams and management.
