Position:                                   WASH Technical Assistant

Reports to:                               WASH Project Manager

Duty station:                             Afar Region Project locations (Sibaybi, Yalo, Berhale)

Travel:                                      Inter woredas/kebeles travel 80%

Duration and type of contract:  6 months (Fixed Term)

The WASH & Shelter Technical Assistant supports planning, implementation, quality assurance and monitoring of WASH and shelter activities to ensure safe, and sustainable services for affected populations. The role includes technical oversight of construction of water systems, sanitation facilities, shelter, water quality management, WASH/Shelter Kits distribution, hygiene promotion, coordination with partners and authorities, procurement and contract support, and reporting.
