Job Description:
Data and Insights Executive
We are seeking an experienced, culturally curious, highly motivated and detail-oriented Data and Insights Executive to join our growing Intelligence team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about uncovering market trends to influence strategy and operations on behalf of our clients who are some of the world’s leading brands.
Key Responsibilities
Data Research and Analysis
- Regularly collect data from a range of sources, ensuring accuracy and relevance as it pertains to a particular client
- Analyse the data collected to identify emerging trends, potential risks and opportunities
- Get familiar with the rapidly changing world of GEO/AEO and how consumers are using those LLMs to determine what brands are best for them
- Create detailed and insightful reports, using our Enterprise AI tool, for external and internal stakeholders, summarising key findings and offering actionable recommendations
- Undertake ad-hoc research requests using the tools provided
Monitoring and Reporting
- Monitor news coverage and social media mentions relevant to client work and brefs
- Undertake ad-hoc monitoring requests due to changes in the market
Competitor Benchmarking:
- Conduct benchmarking reports to help the company understand its competitive standing
Support the wider Intelligence Team:
- Assist in providing data-backed insights that inform the development of strategic campaigns and initiatives
- Present findings, sometimes direct to clients, in a clear and accessible format (PDFs, graphs, graphics, presentations and dashboards)
- Support new business projects with key data slides for presentation
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Team Player: Ability to communicate and collaborate across teams and departments
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in interpreting data, identifying trends and translating findings into actionable insights
- Experience: 3 to 4 years’ experience in data analysis, or a similar role (internships included)
- Knowledge, and interest, of how to leverage AI systems to produce board room ready findings
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for accuracy when collecting content for, reporting and presenting data
- Time Management: Strong independence and organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesise full length news articles into clear and concise snippets for an executive audience
Desirable Skills
- Curiosity and an interest in culture and current affairs
- Curiosity and an interest in how technology can be leveraged to understand people
- Experience in the agency world, in data mining, media or social media analytics on behalf of clients
- Knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Looker Studio or Power BI
- Interest or background in public relations, communications or marketing
- Tech-savvy: Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. ideally Muck Rack, Cision, Signal AI, Meltwater, Talkwalker, Morning Consult) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and data visualisation tools
- Experience or knowledge of conducting GEO assessments and common GEO platforms (e.g. Profound, Blue Fish AI, Meltwater Gen AI Lens, etc.)
Salary - £33K - £35K DOE plus a great range of Benefits.
