POSITION SUMMARY

Performs a variety of tasks in the distribution of patient meals, obtaining patient menu selections at bedside, assembling and distribu­ting patient snacks, maintaining patient meal delivery carts, courtesy carts, maternity meal carts, nourishment carts, cleaning and stocking work areas, other duties as requested by supervisor.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  1. High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

  1. One year experience in hospital food service preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  1. Ability to accurately work with numbers as it would relate to the performance of assigned duties.
  2. Proficient with computer systems, electronic devices (including tablets), and other electronic devices as necessary, and wireless phones.
  3. Possesses exceptional customer service skills and is able to relate to others effectively and in a professional manner.

License/Certification/Registration:

None required

Receives general supervision from the department manager and supervisors.
