We are looking for a hands-on sales development leader to build and run Oppizi's outbound engine from Barcelona. You will manage our SDR team, carry your own pipeline target, and own the outbound motion end to end: lists, sequences, deliverability, coaching, and conversion. What's Oppizi

Oppizi is the first major multi-channel player in offline performance marketing. We have built a technology platform that enables the tracking, scaling and optimisation of flyering, door-to-door, direct mail, and insert media campaigns. We operate in 14 countries, including the US, UK, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, and more. We are proud to work with flagship accounts such as Uber, DoorDash, Chipotle, Deliveroo, and many others.

Our tech team of 50 is AI-first and ships fast. We are currently building an AI agent platform that will power our product for the next five to ten years, led by a Chief AI Officer who previously worked at NASA and SpaceX. We operate in a category with very few real competitors, against incumbents who are growing at 5% a year.

The role

Reporting to the COO, you will lead Oppizi's SDR team in Barcelona and personally contribute to pipeline. This is explicitly a player-coach role. You will spend part of your week prospecting your own accounts and the rest managing, coaching, and building the systems that make the team better.

We do not have a finished outbound playbook. We have strong logos, a differentiated product, and a team that needs a leader who knows how to build sequences that land, coach reps who are ramping, and turn activity into qualified pipeline. That build is the job.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Coaching

• Manage, coach, and develop the Barcelona SDR team, owning ramp, performance, and progression
• Run weekly one-to-ones, call reviews, and pipeline reviews with a consistent methodology
• Set clear activity and outcome KPIs, and hold the team to them
• Build a performance culture grounded in accountability, feedback, and continuous improvement
• Own hiring and onboarding for the SDR team as it grows

Personal Pipeline (The Player Half)

• Carry your own quota for qualified meetings and pipeline generated
• Personally prospect into strategic and enterprise accounts, leading by example
• Stay hands-on in the tools every week; you should be writing sequences, not just approving them
• Run discovery calls and hand over cleanly to Account Executives and General Managers

Outbound engine and process

• Own the full outbound motion: list building, segmentation, sequencing, multichannel cadence, and follow-up
• Own email deliverability end to end, including domain warming, inbox rotation, and sender reputation
• Continuously test and improve messaging, subject lines, open rates, reply rates, and meeting conversion
• Build the objection handling library and the qualification framework the team runs on
• Partner with Marketing on ICP definition, ABM target lists, and campaign follow-up

Reporting and Revenue Operations

• Own CRM hygiene and data quality for the top of the funnel
• Report weekly on activity, pipeline generated, conversion rates, and forecast to the COO
• Run the business off data, not anecdote
• Leverage AI-powered sales tools and Oppizi's internal agent stack to raise team productivity

• Know outbound as a craft. You have personally written the sequences, fixed the deliverability, and cracked the list that finally worked.
• Coach rather than supervise. You have taken a ramping SDR and made them good, and you can point to who and how.
• Lead from the front. You are comfortable carrying your own number while developing the team around you.
• Build where there is no playbook. You bring structure to ambiguity instead of waiting for it to arrive.
• Move with urgency. You operate fast, adapt quickly, and prefer shipping to planning.
• Communicate with precision. Whether it is a cold email, a call review, or a weekly report, you are clear and credible.
• Are genuinely ambitious. You want the next role after this one, and you want to earn it by building something.

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years in B2B sales development or inside sales, with at least 2 years directly managing an SDR or BDR team
• Demonstrable track record of building and scaling an outbound engine in B2B SaaS, MarTech, or AdTech
• Deep hands-on expertise in outbound: sequence design, deliverability, domain and inbox management, multichannel cadence
• Proven coaching ability, with concrete examples of reps you ramped and developed
• Experience prospecting into enterprise or mid-market accounts, not just SMB volume
• Strong command of CRM and outbound tooling; experience with HubSpot, Clay, and Lemlist is a strong plus
• Comfortable being measured on both team output and a personal number
• Fluent English is mandatory.
• Based in Barcelona or willing to relocate. This is an on-site role
• Comfortable with occasional international travel
• Fluency in either French, German or Spanish is a strong plus.
