About The Role

You see sales process as a system to be engineered, not a list to be worked. You’ll build the enrichment, scoring, routing and sequencing that decide who we contact, when, and what we say, and you’ll build it to keep running on its own long after you’ve moved on to the next thing.

You’ll be selling into a new category, which means there’s no off-the-shelf playbook to copy. You’ll be writing and building the full stack you need working day to day with our London and Salt Lake sales team AEs and SDRs.

What You’ll Do

• Focus on taking more MQLs and SQLs through to demo

• Focus on creating sales efficiency and improving close won ratios across the business

• Build the systems that power our pipeline across outbound, inbound, ABM and sales workflows, using tools such as Clay, Apollo, n8n, Zapier and Clearbit (or building our own)

• Create and look after automated enrichment, lead scoring, routing and multi-channel sequences, shipping three to five experiments or campaigns a month that are built to scale

• Turn signals from our website and content into outbound triggers, account-based plays and timely follow-ups for the AE team

• Take ownership of the entire GTM tech stack, including deliverability, CRM automation, data hygiene and attribution, and make the call on what we build ourselves and what we buy

• Write the documentation and playbooks that let anyone on the team understand and repeat what you’ve built

• Build the “visibility gap” outbound engine: pull a prospect’s AI search performance from Searchable’s own data, generate a personalised proof point and drop it into the first touch, automatically

• Own the handoffs: SDR to AE, inbound to SDR, self-serve signup to sales. Define the qualification rules in HubSpot, enforce them with automation, and kill the spreadsheets

• Set up intent and signal tracking (website visits, content engagement, competitor mentions, hiring signals, funding) and route accounts to the right rep within the hour, not the week

• Use LLMs inside the workflow: research, personalisation, lead qualification, call note summarisation into CRM fields. Build it with Claude, OpenAI or whatever works, with guard rails so reps trust the output

• Report on the funnel weekly: contact to meeting, meeting to opportunity, by channel, by campaign, by rep. If a sequence isn’t converting, you’ll know by Friday and have changed it by Monday

• Train the SDRs and AEs on what you build. If reps can’t use it without you in the room, it isn’t finished

What We’re Looking For

• At least four years in GTM engineering, RevOps automation or a technical growth role at a B2B SaaS company

• Someone who can take a tangled problem spread across multiple data sources and turn it into something the sales team relies on without second-guessing

• Real hands-on experience with Clay, HubSpot, Apollo, Zapier and n8n, plus enough Python or JavaScript to carry on when no-code hits its limits

• An AI-first mindset: when work piles up, you reach for automation before you reach for a new hire

• Proof that your automation has lifted conversion rates and taken manual work off SDRs and AEs
