Job Description
The Chief Baker is responsible for overseeing all bakery operations, ensuring the production of high-quality breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods. This role leads the bakery team, maintains food safety and quality standards, manages inventory and production schedules, and develops new bakery products to meet guest and business requirements.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience
- Secondary / High school education
- Additional certification(s) from a reputable culinary school will be an advantage
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
- Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
