Job Description

Baystate Children’s Hospital (BCH), a 110-bed and 57-bassinette hospital located within Baystate Medical Center, is the only accredited full-service children’s hospital in western Massachusetts and provides primary and advanced medical care to babies, children, and adolescents and their families. The Children’s and Adolescents Unit is seeking a part time day RN to join our team!

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

The Children’s and Adolescents Unit is designed to meet the needs of babies and kids from birth to age 21. This is a special unit that tries to make each child’s stay as comfortable as possible. In addition to providing excellent patient care the unit strives to provide play and activity spaces, and we have a great indoor and outdoor play deck for the children. Our team of doctors, nurses, and child life specialists as well as other specialists create a care plan that matches each child’s developmental, physical, and emotional needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience required.
Education: AND required; BSN preferred.

Compensation

Note: The compensation range(s) in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
