West Perth is home to one of IHG's fastest-growing hotel brands, Holiday Inn West Perth. Located within walking distance of Kings Park, Holiday Inn West Perth is IHG's first Perth property outside the CBD.
At the heart of the hotel sits Julio's Italian Restaurant, housed within the beautifully restored 1902 Walsh Family residence. Rich in character and history, Julio's has become a destination dining venue renowned for its welcoming atmosphere, exceptional service, and authentic Italian-inspired cuisine.

Your Day-to-Day
As our Food & Beverage Team Leader, you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager and Head Chef to support the daily operations of Julio's Restaurant, Room Service, and Conference & Events while leading the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
You will play an important role in creating a positive workplace culture, driving service excellence, and ensuring our guests receive memorable hospitality from the moment they arrive until they leave.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Exceptional Guest Service
Create a warm and welcoming environment for every guest
Deliver personalised service aligned with IHG's True Hospitality standards
Serve food and beverages professionally and efficiently
Provide recommendations on menu items, beverages, and specials
- Process payments and handle financial transactions accurately
- Support Room Service, Conference & Events, and bar operations as required
Support Restaurant Operations
Coordinate opening, service, and closing procedures
Ensure restaurant presentation, cleanliness, and service standards are maintained
Assist with inventory management and stocktakes
Support compliance with food safety, RSA, and licensing requirements
Work closely with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
Lead and Develop the Team
Support the Restaurant Manager with training, coaching, and development of team members
Assist with team scheduling and timesheet approvals
Lead by example and foster a positive, collaborative workplace culture
Motivate and engage colleagues to consistently deliver exceptional service
Support workplace health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives
What We're Looking For
We are seeking an enthusiastic hospitality professional who enjoys leading people, building strong guest relationships, and driving high service standards.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or hotel environment
The ability to remain calm, professional, and positive under pressure
A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and support a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong time management, organisational, and delegation skills
A proactive approach and a drive for achieving results
High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
The ability to work independently while contributing positively to the wider hotel team
You will also:
Have previous experience leading or supervising a team (highly regarded)
Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
Hold a current Approved Manager Certification
Hold a current Food Safety Certificate
Hold a current First Aid Certificate
Be available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as part of a rotating roster
Have unrestricted Australian working rights
