What You Can Expect
The Associate Director, IBP & Demand Planning is accountable for leading demand planning across assigned global business and regional stakeholder groups while directly leading the Americas demand planning team. This role partners closely with regional demand planning leads to strengthen alignment, sharing best practices, advance planning capabilities, and support consistent Integrated Business Planning across the broader demand planning network. The role collaborates across Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, and Analytics to establish an aligned, unbiased view of demand, evaluate risks and opportunities, and translate business scenarios into actionable decisions. The Associate Director is also responsible for leading the transformation of scenario planning capabilities and strengthening planning processes, talent, analytics, governance, and overall IBP maturity.
How You'll Create Impact
- Lead the Americas Demand Planning organization while driving alignment and best practices across global planning teams.
- Partner with Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Marketing leaders to deliver accurate demand forecasts and support strategic business decisions.
- Drive the evolution of scenario planning capabilities, embedding risk and opportunity analysis into Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.
- Lead Demand Review and IBP activities, facilitating cross-functional alignment on demand outlooks, business risks, growth opportunities, and key decisions.
- Champion forecasting excellence through the use of planning metrics, analytics, and data-driven insights to improve forecast accuracy and business performance.
- Partner with Planning Platforms, Analytics and IT teams to enhance planning capabilities through SAP IBP, automation, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Develope and coach high-performing planning teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Drive planning transformation initiatives that improve decision-making, inventory outcomes, service levels, and overall supply chain effectiveness.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, translating complex planning data into actionable recommendations and executive insights.
- Promote standardized planning processes, governance, and best practice across global teams to support scalable and sustainable growth.

Lead Global Demand Planning
- Lead the Americas Demand Planning team and partner with global planning leaders to drive forecast accuracy, consistency, and business performance.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain teas to develop actionable demand plans and align business priorities.
- Drive adoption of demand planning best practices, performance metrics, and planning standards across regions and business groups.
Drive Scenario Planning Excellence
- Lead the evolution of scenario planning capabilities, embedding proactive risk assessment and decision-making into planning processes.
- Partner cross-functionally to evaluate revenue, supply, capacity, inventory, and service impacts of alternative business scenarios.
- Leverage SAP IBP, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools to strengthen planning capabilities and insights.
Lead Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
- Own and continuously improve Demand Review and IBP processes for assigned global business groups.
- Facilitate executive discussions on demand outlooks, business risks, opportunities, and strategic decisions.
- Ensure alignment between demand plans, financial goals, supply strategies, and operational capabilities.
Develop Talent & Planning Capability
- Coach and develop a high-performing demand planning team while promoting collaboration across the global planning network.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making.
- Support capability building through training, best practices, and planning standards.
Tranform Planning Through Analytics
- Drive planning transformation initiatives focused on forecast accuracy, productivity, inventory performance, and service outcomes.
- Champion the use of advanced analytics, demand sensing, automation, and AI to enhance decision quality and business agility.
Influence Across the Enterprise
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Marketing.
- Influence strategic decisions through data-driven insights, clear communication, and effective stakeholder engagement.
- Represent Demand Planning in global business and transformation initiatives.
Your Background
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in demand planning, integrated business planning, S&OP, supply chain planning, or related disciplines.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience, including experience leading managers and/ or complex planning teams preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading demand planning and Integrated Business Planning processes within a large, complex, or global organization, including direct people leadership and cross-regional stakeholder influence.
- Experience designing, implementing, or significantly advancing scenario planning capabilities strongly preferred.
- Experience partnering with Senior Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations leaders required.
- SAP IBP or comparable advanced planning system experience strongly preferred; experience with advanced analytics, statistical forecasting, demand sensing, automation, or AI-enabled planning is a plus.
