Lead Business Systems Analyst (Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) or Remote)

How you’ll contribute:

As a Lead Business Systems Analyst, you’ll be responsible for supporting Digital Experience and Enterprise Operations, you will work closely with Product Owners and Agile delivery teams to ensure features and user stories are clearly defined, technically feasible, and ready for execution. You will analyze business processes, evaluate system impacts, support solution design, and help guide initiatives from concept through delivery. This role partners across business and technology teams to enable efficient delivery of business value. The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem solver with strong analytical skills and a passion for continuous improvement.

In this role, you’ll get to:

Lead end-to-end system analysis efforts in a cross-functional agile team, supporting the implementation of digital experiences and operations.
Refine business processes, procedures, and metadata into actionable technology deliverables.
Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, developers, and QA analysts to refine acceptance criteria and align with strategic business goals.
Drive backlog refinement and support the Product Owner in maintaining a healthy product backlog.
Serve as the subject matter expert on supported applications, process flows, and system behavior.
Support sprint planning and daily scrums, ensuring the team understands requirements and impact.
Support IT and Journey Leads in gathering and analyzing data for KPIs.
Demonstrate high-level knowledge of architecture, data, and system dependencies.

We’re looking for people who have:

3+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, Agile delivery, or related disciplines supporting technology initiatives.
Experience partnering with business and technical stakeholders to deliver solutions and improve customer experiences.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and requirements gathering skills
Knowledge of APIs, SQL, digital platforms, or software delivery practices is a plus.
Excellent facilitation skills to drive requirement discussions and present materials.
Prior experience in implementing digital experiences a plus.
Life / Annuity insurance experience or financial services experience a plus.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills – including oral and written communication, relationship building, and collaboration.
Self-driven ability to understand, uncover, resolve, and recommend options to solve complex issues.
Experience with requirement management tools such as Jira.

Compensation – Base salary ranging from $105,000 - $120,000 plus competitive performance-based incentives determined by company and individual results.
