Maintenance Technician

Full-time, Maintenance Technician for the Night Shift

This position reports into the Maintenance Supervisor and is based in Guelph, Canada.

What will you do

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated millwright or electrician to join the Production Maintenance team as a Maintenance Technician. You will support both processing and packaging equipment maintenance activities during the night shift (11pm to 7am, Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities

· Maintain all manufacturing equipment, perform repairs, and support daily maintenance processes

· Execute Preventative, Corrective, and Emergency Maintenance work orders by following internal SOPs and procedures while adhering to GMP and safety requirements.

· Support troubleshooting, maintenance, and reliability activities where required.

· Support job plan and preventative maintenance review and migration into Maximo

· Own specific critical equipment as defined by the site’s reliability roadmap

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent.
Industrial Millwright 433A and/or Electrician 442A or Journeyman 309A, one ticket required, two an asset.
Proven track record of working independently to troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain production equipment.
Strong aptitude for problem solving.
Technical expertise in processing and/or packaging.

Desired Qualifications

· Detail-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills

· Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Good documentation practices

· Proficient with MS Office suite
