Talent Acquisition Partner - 6 month FTC (Construction)

We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner, to make a real impact on how we attract and hire talent. This role is for a fixed term contract of 6 months starting in November.
You'll own end-to-end recruitment of Delivery and Construction roles, working as a trusted advisor to hiring managers in our hiring teams across the North. This is a hands-on role where your sourcing expertise, stakeholder relationships, and commitment to delivering exceptional candidate experiences will directly shape our success.
What you'll do:
- Manage full recruitment lifecycles from job posting through to offer and day 1 onboarding, ensuring smooth, efficient processes
- Use your direct sourcing skills across LinkedIn, talent pools, job boards, social media, and creative channels to find exceptional candidates
- Run high volume assessment centres in the Manchester area
- Build proactive pipelines of passive talent for hard-to-fill and high-demand roles
- Partner closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and external agencies as a trusted talent advisor
- Provide market intelligence, compensation benchmarking, and talent landscape analysis to inform hiring decisions
- Champion diversity and inclusion through inclusive sourcing strategies and fair, unbiased candidate evaluation
- Track key recruiting metrics to identify bottlenecks, optimize processes, and report on hiring effectiveness
- Represent Bauer at recruiting events, career fairs, and workshops supporting our DEI and Social Value initiatives
- Travel to BMG offices/depot and events as required
What we’re looking for…
- Proven high volume recruitment experience, managing full-cycle recruitment for multiple roles simultaneously
- Experience working in the construction and industrial industries is essential
- Strong direct sourcing skills with demonstrated success finding both passive and active candidates
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities—you build trust easily and influence at all levels
- Experience with ATS systems and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines
- Passion for delivering exceptional candidate experiences at every touchpoint
