Basic Purpose Detects and monitors hazard risks across the company's service area and alert functional areas and internal partners to respond to any emerging threats to our communities, customers, coworkers and company infrastructure. Performs real-time detection and monitoring of conditions by leveraging information from on-the-ground field teams, NV Energy meteorology tool, live video and audio feeds, as well as databases, emergency alert systems and social media from NV Energy, the National Weather Service, local public safety authorities and other agencies and systems.
