Job Description
We're looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager - Leisure to join our hospitality team in 6th of October City, Egypt. In this pivotal role, you'll lead the charge in developing and executing strategic sales initiatives that drive leisure revenue growth and expand our market presence. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams while building and nurturing relationships with key leisure travel partners across local and international markets. - Develop and execute comprehensive strategic sales plans to achieve leisure revenue targets and room night goals while maintaining profitability
- Build, maintain, and expand strong relationships with Destination Management Companies (DMCs), travel agencies, tour operators, wholesalers, and luxury travel advisors in both local and international markets
- Identify and capitalize on new leisure business opportunities to enhance market share and competitive positioning
- Conduct regular sales calls, client presentations, business entertainment activities, and property site inspections to strengthen partnerships
- Represent the organization at trade shows, sales missions, roadshows, and networking events to elevate brand visibility
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and business agreements strategically to maximize hotel profitability while maintaining competitive positioning
- Collaborate closely with Revenue Management, Reservations, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs to develop agile and effective sales strategies
- Prepare detailed sales reports, revenue forecasts, and business plans to support achievement of organizational revenue goals and provide transparent performance insights
- Lead and mentor sales team members, fostering a supportive and motivational work environment that drives individual and collective success
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of proven hotel or hospitality sales experience, preferably within luxury hospitality environments
- Strong expertise in the leisure travel segment and comprehensive knowledge of luxury travel distribution channels
- Existing network with DMCs, travel agencies, tour operators, wholesalers, and luxury travel advisors (highly desirable)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, networking, and presentation skills with strong interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving sales targets and growing market share
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset with strong goal-setting and time management capabilities
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a significant advantage
- Familiarity with regional and international leisure travel markets, with knowledge of the Egypt market preferred
- Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and develop data-driven strategies
- Proven problem-solving abilities and resilience in navigating market challenges
- Team leadership and management experience with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing market conditions and business priorities
- Customer-focused approach with empathy and commitment to delivering outstanding service
Additional Information
- Previous experience in the hotel/hospitality industry is preferred.
- Egyptian nationality is preferred/accepted.
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
- Good in English, additional languages are a plus.
- Prior experience working with Opera or a related system.
