Role Summary
DBS Consumer Banking Group Technology is seeking a talented React Developer to join our team as Senior Associate. You will own the delivery of complex micro-frontend features for our digibank platform, serving millions of users across multiple Asia-Pacific regions. This role involves building cross-platform solutions that work seamlessly across mobile WebView and web browsers from a single codebase.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex micro-frontend features for both mobile and web platforms
- Develop scalable React applications using TypeScript and modern frontend technologies
- Provide technical guidance and code review for junior developers
- Optimize application performance across WebView and browser environments
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver customer-centric solutions
- Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to platform improvements
Requirements
- 4-8 years of professional frontend development experience
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with React and TypeScript
- Strong understanding of micro-frontend architecture and component-based design
- Experience with React Hooks and state management libraries (Zustand, Redux, or similar)
- Experience building applications for web browsers (mobile WebView experience is a plus)
- Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques
- Experience with modern frontend tooling (Webpack, Rsbuild, npm/pnpm/bun)
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred
- Experience in banking or financial services industry
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Experience with design systems and component libraries
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright)
- Understanding of security best practices in web development
