WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
The Converse Korea Marketplace Merchandising team shapes consumer-led assortments and marketplace execution for the Korea business. The role reports to the Senior Manager of Marketplace Merchandising and partners closely with Sales, Planning, Marketing, Operations, and regional and global merchandising teams.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a consumer-focused merchant with a strong curiosity for product, analytical capability, and disciplined execution. The successful candidate can connect product, marketplace, and business insights, manage multiple seasonal priorities, and communicate clearly across functions. They are comfortable navigating ambiguity, proactive in following through on commitments, and motivated to build deeper merchandising expertise across Apparel & Accessories, Energy projects, business analytics, and GTM execution.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training.
- Two or more years of relevant experience in merchandising, buying, retail, marketplace, product management, sales, planning, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to analyze sell-through, product performance, consumer insights, and marketplace trends and turn findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple seasonal deadlines and dependencies.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in Korean and English, with a collaborative and inclusive approach to working across functions.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
You will play an important role in supporting seasonal merchandising, assortment planning, marketplace execution, and business analysis for Converse Korea. Working closely with the Senior Manager, you will translate consumer, marketplace, and business insights into meaningful seasonal recommendations, while driving accurate and timely execution throughout the GTM process.
- Contribute to the development and execution of seasonal Apparel & Accessories assortment strategies grounded in consumer needs, marketplace insights, and business performance.
- Support line reviews, assortment planning, and seasonal product recommendations by analyzing historical performance, sell-through, assortment productivity, and marketplace opportunities.
- Coordinate defined Energy, Incubate, and special product initiatives, including seasonal tracking, product information, forecast coordination, distribution inputs, samples, timelines, and cross-functional follow-up.
- Maintain seasonal dashboards and recurring business analyses, identify performance drivers, opportunities, and risks, and translate results into clear insights and recommendations.
- Create, maintain, and communicate accurate seasonal assortment information, product updates, and merchandising tools across internal Marketplace teams and cross-functional partners.
- Track key GTM milestones, deliverables, and outstanding actions, proactively partnering across teams to drive timely and accurate marketplace execution.
- Partner with Sales, Planning, Marketing, Operations, and regional and global teams to continuously improve merchandising processes, tools, and ways of working within the role’s defined areas of responsibility.
