Account Executive - Commercial Inside (Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay)
The Role
As an Account Executive - Commercial Inside – Commercial at Veeam, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth across an assigned territory, managing SMB and Commercial accounts (typically 150–1,500 employees).
This role combines high-volume virtual selling with direct customer and partner engagement, focusing on new business development, pipeline generation, and expanding existing customer relationships. You will work closely with channel partners and internal teams to deliver Veeam's solutions, accelerate sales cycles, and consistently achieve revenue targets.
What You'll Do
- Own and develop an assigned territory, driving revenue growth through new customer acquisition, upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, prospects, channel partners, and distributors through virtual and face-to-face interactions.
- Proactively generate and manage a healthy sales pipeline through prospecting, partner collaboration, and demand-generation initiatives.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from identifying opportunities and qualifying customer needs to presenting solutions, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Collaborate closely with SDRs, Channel, Renewals, Sales Engineering, and Partner Management teams to maximize sales opportunities.
- Develop joint business plans with channel partners and internal stakeholders to accelerate pipeline creation and achieve sales targets.
- Position Veeam's solutions effectively, understanding customer business needs and articulating the value of our data resilience and protection portfolio.
- Maintain accurate opportunity management, forecasting, and reporting in Salesforce, ensuring strong pipeline visibility and timely follow-up.
- Drive consistent sales activity and execution, meeting quarterly revenue, pipeline, and demand-generation targets.
What You'll Bring
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, ideally within the technology or software industry.
- Previous experience in Inside Sales, Account Management, or Field Sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Hybrid position, expected to visit clients F2F.
- Strong understanding of the sales cycle, prospecting techniques, pipeline management, and opportunity qualification.
- Experience working with channel partners, distributors, or indirect sales models is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce, including forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills, with the ability to build relationships at different organizational levels.
- Strong customer focus, active listening skills, and the ability to identify business needs and position value-based solutions.
- A proactive, results-driven mindset, with strong collaboration skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, depending on the assigned territory.
- Willingness to travel as required, approximately 25%.
