Sola owns every layer of insurance, from pricing with weather data to paying claims, and thousands of independent agents now trust us to protect their clients' homes. Almost all of those agencies found us through word of mouth, and as we grow beyond wind and hail into broader home coverage, the agencies that already sell Sola are the heart of our business. We're looking for an Account Manager who will treat a book of those agencies as their own, help them win more with Sola every month, and show our newer teammates what great partnership looks like.

The Role

We're hiring an Account Manager to own a book of active independent agency partners and grow what they write with Sola. The job is to become the person each of your agencies calls first, keep Sola part of their everyday sales conversations, and turn quiet agencies into consistent producers.

You are someone who has already owned a set of accounts or partners on your own, who measures your work by retention and growth, and who enjoys being both a trusted advisor and a problem solver. This is not a traditional service desk role where you wait for tickets, and it is not a hunting role focused on signing new agencies, since our Territory Sales Managers bring partners in and you help them thrive.

You should constantly be:

• Checking in with your agencies by phone, video and in person so they feel confident quoting Sola

• Spotting which agencies are slowing down and acting before they go quiet

• Training agents on our product, tools and process so selling Sola feels easy

• Solving escalations quickly with our underwriting, claims and product teams

• Bringing what you hear from agencies back to the team so we keep improving

You'll work closely with the rest of Account Management, our Territory Sales Managers and our product team, and you'll help build the playbook that the next wave of Associate Account Managers learns from.

What You'll Own

• A defined book of active independent agencies and their retention with Sola

• Growth in quotes and policies written across your book

• A regular cadence of check-ins, reviews and agency visits

• Agent training on Sola's product, quoting tools and process

• Fast, complete resolution of agency escalations across teams

• Clean CRM records and a clear view of the health of every account

• Agency feedback shared with product and leadership

• Day-to-day coaching for Associate Account Managers who shadow your work

Who We're Looking For

Must-haves

• Experience owning a book of accounts or partners yourself in account management, customer success or a partner-facing role, typically two to four years

• Real results in retaining and growing accounts that you can walk us through with numbers

• A steady, self-driven cadence for check-ins, follow-ups and escalations

• Strong CRM habits and the instinct to use data to decide where to spend your time

• Clear, warm communication with business owners on the phone, in writing and in person

• Curiosity, coachability and low ego, with a habit of asking why

• Based in Atlanta or open to relocating, and someone who enjoys building alongside the team in person. We work together from our West Midtown office five days a week because we've found that our best ideas, fastest problem solving and closest working relationships come from being in the same room.

Strong plus

• Experience working with independent insurance agents, brokers or another reseller channel

• Time at an early-stage startup where you helped build the process

• Experience training customers or coaching junior teammates

• Comfort using dashboards, simple analysis or AI tools to manage a book

• You prefer a support role where someone else owns the relationship and the growth goal

• You want a pure new business hunting role

• You need a fully built playbook before you can perform

• You are looking for a remote or hybrid schedule
