Job Description
The Internal Lighting Sales Specialist will drive sales growth by providing lighting advice, technical support and commercial solutions to customers. Working closely with the Branch Manager, the role combines business development, project management and customer relationship management to deliver innovative lighting solutions and achieve branch sales and margin targets.
Key Accountabilities:
- Deliver advice and technical support on the full lighting product portfolio to customers, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Respond to customer enquiries by phone, email and in person and develop detailed quotations
- Identify, develop and manage business opportunities with new and existing customers.
- Monitor project pipelines and construction industry activity to identify new lighting opportunities.
- Manage lighting projects from enquiry through to completion, ensuring customer requirements and commercial objectives are achieved.
- Prepare and support tender submissions, specifications and project documentation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, facility managers and end users.
- Deliver a high level of customer service, technical expertise and responsive support.
- Support branch sales activity and marketing initiatives, including product promotions, customer presentations and lighting awareness campaigns.
- Any other duties as required.
Qualifications
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Lighting product knowledge and experience is essential.
- Experience in electrical wholesale is an advantage.
- Previous sales or business development experience is desirable.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused approach.
- Must be computer literate.
- A full clean driving licence is an advantage.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workloads.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.

- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
