The successful candidate will combine technical credibility, strategic business thinking, and strong relationship-building skills. This individual will represent Duke Energy in high-profile interactions with regulators, elected officials, local and state government staff, environmental organizations, consultants, community leaders, and industry groups; build consensus; resolve conflicts; and advance long-term organizational objectives.

The role requires comfort working across organizational boundaries and developing practical solutions that balance environmental stewardship, regulatory obligations, operational needs, stakeholder interests, and business objectives.
