Director, Paid Marketing & MarTech

The Opportunity

Every paid dollar EcoShield spends to acquire a customer will run through you. This is the senior operator seat for all paid customer acquisition: you will own the strategy, the execution, and the P&L for every paid channel, manage an annual working media budget (with a focus on driving marketing attributed revenue at an acceptable CAC), and own the marketing technology stack that powers the entire engine. You will be hands-on in the work while we grow the program and hire the team, building and optimizing campaigns yourself in the early innings. Your channels feed a National Inside Sales organization, so you will own paid media's contribution to marketing attributed revenue which is driven by qualified lead volume, connected leads, sales, and blended CAC.

What You Will Own

• Strategy, execution, and P&L for all paid channels: paid search, paid social, display and video, Local Services Ads, retargeting, direct mail testing, etc.
• An annual working media budget scaling into eight figures, deployed against clear CAC, ROAS, and lead volume targets by channel.
• The MarTech stack and team end-to-end: evaluating, selecting, negotiating, and implementing platforms across tag management, web analytics, call tracking and conversation intelligence, experimentation, and marketing automation. You will partner with the CMO and other Marketing and Analytics leaders to build out this program.
• Measurement design in partnership with the Director, Marketing Data & Analytics: offline conversion feeds, value-based bidding, and incrementality testing so ad platforms optimize toward sold subscriptions rather than simply raw lead volume.
• Lifecycle marketing: email and SMS nurture programs covering speed to lead, failed dial revival, and aged lead win back, run on a modern automation platform.
• Team and partner leadership: as we grow the program, you will hire and develop paid media and lifecycle specialists and manage agency and vendor relationships if/where they genuinely add value.
• Daily partnership with National Inside Sales on speed to lead, lead quality feedback loops.
• Creative testing velocity: briefs, ad copy, landing page variants, and offer tests in partnership with CRO.
• Forecasting and reporting: paid lead and sales volume forecasts, with weekly performance reporting on spend, CAC, and ROAS.

What You Will Bring

Required

• 4+ years in affiliate or partner marketing, with direct hands-on responsibility for a program's results.
• Demonstrated experience building or substantially scaling an affiliate program, ideally from scratch or from a basic state.
• Hands-on platform fluency with one or more major affiliate networks or SaaS platforms (Impact, Commission Junction, Awin, Partnerize, ShareASale, Rakuten Advertising, Everflow, or similar).
• A track record of negotiating favorable commercial terms with publishers and holding a channel to a CAC or ROAS target.
• Experience with lead generation or performance partnerships, including host and post, lead transfer, or pay per call models.
• An existing network of publisher and review site relationships, or a proven ability to build one quickly through cold outreach.
• Strong analytical skills: comfortable modeling payouts and margins, evaluating partner quality, and defending decisions with data.
• Self-starting, highly responsive, and trustworthy. You will be the face of EcoShield to outside partners and will operate with real autonomy.

Preferred

• Experience in a marketing organization that drives leads for an inside sales call center.
• Home services, subscription, and/or local services category experience.
• Familiarity with call tracking platforms and offline conversion feeds.
• Experience managing affiliate compliance and fraud prevention at scale.
