Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and guest-focused Front Office Intern to become part of our dynamic team at SO/ Uptown Dubai. This opportunity offers aspiring hospitality professionals the chance to gain valuable practical experience in a luxury hotel setting, enhance their communication and guest relations skills, and develop a deeper understanding of delivering personalized service and memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns professionally and efficiently.
Assist with room assignments, reservations, and guest registration.
Answer incoming calls and emails, providing accurate hotel information.
Learn and use the hotel's Property Management System (PMS) for daily operations.
Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences.
Provide information on hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
Support daily administrative tasks, guest records, and shift handovers.
Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming Front Desk environment.
Work closely with the Front Office team to deliver exceptional guest service while developing practical hospitality skills.
Expected start date: February 2027
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and passion for hospitality.
Good communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
Professional appearance with a friendly and service-oriented approach.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and willingness to support daily Front Office operations.
