Reporting to the Record to Report Manager, the General Accounting Corporate & Industrial Activities Staff supports the accurate and timely execution of general accounting activities for the Corporate & Industrial perimeter. The role contributes to the integrity of financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, internal procedures, and corporate deadlines while supporting period-end closing activities.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

Perform general accounting activities and ensure the accurate recording of transactions in the general ledger.
Prepare and manage accruals and deferrals.
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of related accounting records.
Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies when required.
Prepare and post closing, adjustment, and account reconciliation entries.

Requirements

Accounting Diploma or equivalent qualification.
2-3 years of experience in a similar role within a structured context.
Strong knowledge of general accounting principles.
Intermediate command of English, both written and spoken.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, and good knowledge of IT systems.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in the preparation of statutory financial statements is considered a plus.
Knowledge of SAP and AS400 ERP systems is considered a plus.
Previous experience within an accounting firm is considered a plus.

Salary Package

Gross Annual Salary: 30.000 € (unless otherwise agreed, in the event of a positive outcome of the selection process, should specific levels of experience and autonomy and/or particular competencies emerge during the selection process, based on objective criteria).
NCBA (National Collective Bargaining Agreement): CCNL per gli addetti alle industrie manifatturiere delle pelli e succedanei e ombrelli e ombrelloni (unique alphanumeric code: D111)
Bonuses and Commissions: Annual Target Bonus as per the company-level collective agreement in force, up to 20% of the Gross Annual Salary.
