ROLE MISSION

Event Senior Specialist will work tightly with the VP Communications and other cross functions to, develop, and implement high-impact brand events and communications activations for Gucci Korea, with objective to uplift brand desirability, elevate luxury client engagement, and stimulate business growth.

The role needs to build integrated event plans across various occasions. An ideal candidate combines exceptional operational excellence and creative storytelling with a deep understanding of luxury brand equity. This role must orchestrate flawless execution for fashion presentations, pop-ups, high-end collection launches, press activations and more to build high-visibility brand exposure and drive traffic to our owned network of stores, retail partners, and e-commerce platforms.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Develop strategic and creative vision for Gucci's event presence and experiential activations, aligned to marketing and communications calendar covering seasonal launches, product pillars and brand milestones.
• Lead end-to-end execution of events, including venue sourcing, production management, creative set design, spatial storytelling, technical production, entertainment, guest journey mapping, and luxury hospitality.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional key stakeholders to break organizational silos and create synergy. Work tightly with PR, media, VM, Merchandising and clients teams to align campaign focus, target audiences.
• Directly manage local production agencies, creative vendors, event contractors, and technical partners to ensure optimal execution quality, adherence to global brand guidelines, and maximum ROI.
• Manage event budget planning, execution, and reconciliation; establish a bottom-up budget approach to create impact, ensure cost efficiency, and track post-event KPIs and business performance.
• Partner with regional and global Events, Visual Merchandising, and Communications teams to adapt global event toolkits locally while maintaining brand consistency and cultural relevance.
• Stay attuned to local luxury ecosystem trends, emerging creative technologies, venue openings, and luxury lifestyle experiences in Korea to constantly innovate and build "test and learn" experiential concepts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• College Degree (Bachelor's degree or equivalent).
• 7 to 10+ years of working experience in luxury event management, brand experience, or communications fields within luxury fashion, premium lifestyle, or top-tier agency environments.
• Proven track record of planning and delivering mid to large-scale luxury brand activations, fashion presentations, pop-up stores, and high-net-worth client experiences.
• Strong network of premium vendors, production agencies, venue partners, and creative talent with excellent negotiation skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong aesthetic sensibility combined with a solid grasp of luxury brand strategy and visual standards.
• Ability to manage external agency partners effectively, setting high standards and holding them accountable for deliverables and timelines.
• Excellent in both written and spoken English and Korean.
