How You Will Contribute

In this role, you will own and optimize the financial closing and reporting cycle, serving as a vital link between Shanghai and our HK/Macau operations. Your contributions will ensure transparency, control, and insight.

Financial Stewardship & Reporting:

• Own the full R2R process for assigned entities (CN, HK and Macau), managing day-to-day accounting, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities with precision and timeliness.
• Prepare accurate and compliant statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS and applicable local GAAP.

(PRC GAAP,HKFRS, MFRS, and IFRS) along with insightful analysis for in-house brand finance team.

• Manage critical accounting areas including intercompany reconciliations, lease accounting (IFRS 16), and accruals, ensuring all balances are fully substantiated.
• Perform detailed balance sheet reviews and variance analysis; proactively identify risks and drive resolution

Compliance, Control & Audit support:

• Serve as the first line of defense for financial controls, maintaining and enhancing the internal control framework to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
• Act as the primary point of contact for both internal and external audits for your entities, facilitating a smooth audit process through organized documentation and clear explanations.
• Proactively monitor regulatory changes in CN, HK and Macau, ensuring our accounting practices remain fully compliant.

Finance Partnership & Continuous Improvement:

• Collaborate closely with in-house brand finance in CN, HK/Macau to resolve discrepancies, clarify transactions, and align on accounting treatments.
• Drive process improvements and digitalization initiatives within the R2R cycle, leveraging SAP (FICO) to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and automation.
• Actively contribute to cross-functional finance projects, including system enhancements, new accounting standard implementations, and the integration of new business activities.
• Ensure service delivery in line with FSSC KPIs and SLAs, driving quality and efficiency across processes.

Who You Are

You are a meticulous and proactive accountant who thrives in a detail-oriented yet business-partnering role. You bridge geographical and cultural gaps with professionalism and seek to add value beyond the numbers.

Your Professional Foundation:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, HKICPA) is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with a strong preference for backgrounds in luxury retail, retail, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
• In-depth, practical knowledge of HKFRS/MFRS and IFRS is essential.
• Mandatory proficiency in SAP (FI/CO modules); experience with S/4HANA is a significant plus.

Your Skills & Competencies:

• Analytical & Detail-Oriented: You possess strong analytical skills with an unwavering attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in complex reconciliations and reports.
• Effective Communicator: Excellent command of written and spoken English is required to collaborate with all stakeholders. Proficiency in Cantonese is a strong advantage for liaison with HK/Macau teams.
• Independent & Collaborative: You are a self-starter capable of working independently from Shanghai, while also being a true team player who builds effective relationships across borders in a multicultural environment.
