What You Will Do
As a Service Account Manager, you will become the trusted partner of some of Exotec's most strategic customers in Japan. You will work closely with operational stakeholders, engineering teams, and site leadership to ensure our solutions continue to deliver value long after deployment.
This role combines elements of account management, operational consulting, and technical sales. You will develop a deep understanding of your customers' processes, business objectives, and future challenges, helping them maximize the performance and value of their Exotec systems throughout their lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders
- Understand customer operations, processes, and future business needs
- Act as the primary contact for service agreements, KPIs, and commercial topics
- Ensure contractual commitments and service levels are met
- Monitor customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement
- Support site teams in delivering excellent operational performance
- Manage third-party service providers when required
- Contribute to service, reliability, and maintenance best practices
- Forecast account performance and support budget planning
- Identify opportunities to improve account profitability and customer value
Requirements

- Experience in account management, customer success, consulting, logistics, automation, or technical sales
- Strong customer-facing and relationship-building skills
- Ability to understand complex operational processes and translate customer needs into solutions
- Commercial mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in logistics, warehousing, supply chain, or industrial automation is a plus
- Native-level Japanese required
- English proficiency is beneficial but not essential
