Senior Sales Engineer (Saudi National)
About the Role
Carrier is seeking a results-driven Senior Sales Engineer to support and grow its service and aftermarket business, with a focus on service agreements, maintenance contracts, service repairs, and digitalized service solutions.
In this role, you will develop new business opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and drive profitable sales growth. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to identify business needs, develop tailored service solutions, negotiate commercial agreements, and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development: Develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base for service agreements, maintenance contracts, service repairs, and aftermarket solutions.
- Customer Relationship Management: Manage existing customer accounts, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and identify opportunities to increase customer retention and service revenue.
- Quotation & Proposal Management: Prepare and follow up on quotations, commercial proposals, tenders, and service sales inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer requirements.
- Negotiation & Order Management: Lead commercial negotiations to achieve profitable business outcomes and secure orders in line with company objectives.
- Digitalized Service Solutions: Promote connected and digital service offerings by providing customers with professional proposals, relevant technical information, and tailored solutions.
- Sales Performance: Achieve assigned sales and order booking targets while ensuring profitable growth and effective management of sales opportunities.
- Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Prepare monthly sales forecasts, monitor the sales pipeline, and report business performance and opportunities to management.
- Market & Opportunity Development: Identify prospective customers, target accounts, and project opportunities; assess customer needs and recommend suitable service solutions.
- Customer Engagement: Execute planned customer visits, conduct customer meetings and workshops, and participate in relevant industry events to increase awareness of Carrier’s service offerings.
- Payment Collection: Follow up on outstanding payments and coordinate with relevant internal teams to support timely collection.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal sales, service, and technical teams to develop customer-focused solutions and support business growth.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; Mechanical Engineering is preferred. An MBA is an added advantage.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or customer relationship management, preferably within HVAC, building services, or a related industry.
- Demonstrated experience in selling service agreements, maintenance contracts, and service repair solutions.
- Strong sales, commercial negotiation, and business development skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills in both Arabic and English.
- Strong organizational, planning, time management, and analytical skills.
- Ability to understand customer business needs, identify opportunities, and develop tailored service solutions.
- Experience with sales forecasting, pipeline management, and achieving sales targets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in HVAC service sales, aftermarket business, or technical service solutions.
- Familiarity with digitalized service offerings and connected service solutions.
- Experience managing tenders, preparing commercial proposals, and negotiating service contracts.
- Knowledge of customer account development and service revenue growth strategies.
