Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Maintenance Technician – Level III to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Ladson, SC.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Champion a culture of safety and accountability: Proactively identify and report hazards, follow HSE standards, use appropriate PPE, and encourage safe work practices that protect employees and the environment.
Improve equipment reliability and uptime: Support preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities while contributing to failure analysis efforts that reduce downtime and enhance operational performance.
Deliver high-quality workmanship: Perform maintenance and repair activities according to specifications, diagrams, manuals, and quality procedures, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives: Identify manufacturing constraints, troubleshoot equipment and process issues, and collaborate on solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Strengthen maintenance effectiveness: Provide valuable feedback to the Preventive Maintenance system, raise concerns early, and support actions that minimize cost, risk, and quality exposures.
Develop team capability and knowledge sharing: Coach and support less experienced team members, serve as a technical resource, and contribute to building a more skilled and capable workforce.
Support production goals through operational excellence: Maintain organized work areas, complete maintenance documentation, and perform critical tasks that keep equipment running and production on schedule.
Foster collaboration and TPM engagement: Partner effectively with peers, support teams, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams to improve safety, quality, material flow, employee development, and overall business performance.
