Senior Systems Engineer

SAIC has an immediate need for a Terrestrial Sensor technical Action Officer to support our team at the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

This professional possesses solid foundational engineering or technical intelligence experience but operates under the guidance of a senior SME to draft documents and execute coordination.

Responsibilities:

Support representation at PM reviews and working groups by preparing technical briefing materials, coordinating slides, and tracking action items regarding terrestrial sensor programs.
Draft technical sections, capability matrices, and coordinate the staffing reviews of JCIDS and requirements documents under the direction of the lead SME.
Coordinate routine technical integration tasks and information exchanges with G3, G6, and DAMI counterparts to ensure data-sharing pathways are maintained.
Conduct initial market research and draft preliminary technical assessments or information papers comparing emerging terrestrial sensor technologies.
Verify and test data ingest pathways from terrestrial sensors into local or cloud environments, troubleshooting routine connectivity and data flow issues.
