Mid-Level Integration Test Engineer

SAIC is seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Integration Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in verifying, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging software used to control and monitor Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs). Your work will involve both front-end and back-end service activities, in addition to supporting both development and operational environments.

The position will require up to 10% of travel for onsite installation or field support activities.

This is an ON-SITE role in San Diego, CA. Must be local to the area.

JOB DUTIES:

Collaborate with internal and external teams to debug, troubleshoot, and verify the software product's functional capabilities.
Develop and maintain automated test suites using Python and Selenium to ensure software integrity.
Design and develop simulation programs using Python to validate software performance and functionality.
Deploy and manage service containers using Docker on RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) systems.
Automate processes and tooling using Bash scripting.
Create and maintain robust software documentation for installation, operations, and troubleshooting activities.
Participate in hands-on integration and testing, both remotely and on-site, to diagnose incidents and perform root cause analysis.
