Facilities Project Manager

SAIC is seeking a Facilities Project Manager to provide project management expertise for facilities and infrastructure projects as well as oversight of facility operations and maintenance (O&M) supporting a critical national security mission.
The successful candidate will serve as an interface between Government facilities organizations, architects and engineers, construction contractors, operations and maintenance (O&M) personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and continuity of facility operations. Projects may range from minor renovations to larger facility improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage construction and facilities projects through all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with Government customers to establish project priorities, scope, budget, and schedule.
- Serve as the liaison among facility users, O&M providers, and mission partners.
- Monitor performance, schedule, budget, and risk to ensure successful delivery.
- Review design documents, submittals, schedules, change requests, and cost estimates.
- Facilitate project meetings and provide status updates to Government leadership.
- Ensure contractor compliance with applicable codes, standards, safety requirements, and customer directives.
- Coordinate utility outages, site access, testing activities, and occupancy transitions.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Maintain project documentation and records in accordance with customer requirements.
- Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance (O&M) activities to ensure facilities, building systems, and critical infrastructure operate safely and reliably.
- Coordinate with O&M contractors to develop, implement, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance plans, service schedules, and work orders.
Track O&M performance metrics (e.g., response times, backlog, system uptime) and initiate corrective actions to address performance gaps.
