SAIC is looking for an Engineering Technician III in Crane, IN to support the U.S. Navy.

Job Duties Include:

Follow Standard Operating procedures and Test Plans for battery testing for various battery chemistries (Lead Acid, Li-ion, Lithium Iron Disulfide, or Lithium Calcium), including test procedures for electrical systems for high voltage items
Provide test and evaluation, troubleshooting, lot acceptance, qualification, engineering analysis, documentation, procedure/process creation, shipment/receipt and vendor coordination of batteries
Support battery testing that will consist of testing temperature/humidity cycling, pressure/altitude, acceleration, vibration, and mechanical shock
Report data, results, and analysis to project representatives for batteries, battery systems, battery chargers, and test equipment
Maintain test equipment to ensure all test events are acceptable
