Reporting to the Manager, Health, Safety & Environment – Farm Operations, you will work closely with site leaders, supervisors, permanent employees, and seasonal teams to strengthen safe work practices. You will provide practical safety guidance, conduct risk assessments and inspections, support incident investigations, and deliver safety orientations and training.
Working Environment and Travel
This position supports farming, storage, and research locations across Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. Most travel will be within Prince Edward Island and to nearby sites in Port Elgin and Amherst. Occasional overnight travel may be required for visits to more distant locations, conferences, summits, or other business needs.
The role includes a combination of office, site, field, and outdoor work. Physical activities may include walking, standing, sitting, and occasional lifting. Travel and site-based work will increase during busier agricultural periods.
