Information Security Intern

We're looking for a motivated and driven Information Security Intern to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, working alongside experienced professionals to protect our organization's digital assets.

Responsibilities:
- You'll start the day with the team, discussing priorities and any new threats on the horizon.
- Assist with processing user access requests, performing periodic access reviews, and tracking compliance metrics across business systems.
- Work with other teams, like IT and software development, to ensure security is embedded throughout our systems and processes.
- Spend time exploring new security technologies, attending webinars, and expanding your knowledge. We are committed to your growth and will provide the resources you need to succeed.
- Help audit user entitlements, manage user lifecycle events (onboarding/off-boarding), and enforce principle of least privilege.
- Assist with internal security audits, risk assessment reviews, and evidence collection for compliance frameworks.
- Support the maintenance of security policies, standards, and control frameworks to ensure operational compliance.
- Support vendor risk assessments and help evaluate third-party security postures against organizational standards.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related discipline preferred
