We’re looking for a Media Sales Manager to join our Westfield Rise team in Düsseldorf on a permanent, full-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in growing our media business across Germany and Austria. You’ll work with brands, agencies and media partners to develop new commercial opportunities, grow existing partnerships and bring new media products to market.
And this is very much a hands-on commercial role. You’ll be selling our media solutions, building your pipeline, pitching to clients, negotiating commercial terms and closing deals.

At Westfield Rise, we help brands engage audiences through media, digital, experiential activations, sponsorships and data-driven marketing solutions across some of Europe’s most iconic destinations.
As our Media Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for growing and monetising our media portfolio across Germany and Austria. You’ll manage strategic media partnerships, identify new revenue opportunities and help develop the next generation of media products for our destinations.
Based in our Düsseldorf office, you’ll work closely with clients and partners as well as our Client Solutions, New Business, Operations, Centre Management and Finance teams to turn commercial ideas into successful solutions.
What you’ll be getting involved in
No two days are the same, but you’ll spend your time:
- Selling media solutions to brands, agencies and commercial partners and converting opportunities into signed deals.
- Building and managing a healthy sales pipeline and delivering against agreed revenue targets.
- Creating commercial proposals, pitching solutions and negotiating pricing and commercial terms.
- Managing and developing relationships with key media partners across Germany and Austria.
- Identifying new media opportunities and developing products such as Audio, Storeboost and new non-digital inventory.
- Developing integrated commercial opportunities across DOOH, Media and Experiential.
- Building business cases, pricing models and commercial packages for new and existing products.
- Taking new media products and partnerships from initial idea through to launch and commercial rollout.
- Working closely with Client Solutions and New Business to ensure new products are ready to sell, with clear pricing, sales materials and positioning.
- Collaborating with Operations, Centre Management, Finance and other internal stakeholders to successfully implement media projects.
- Monitoring revenue, partner performance, pipeline and commercial opportunities and identifying ways to continuously improve results.
What we’re looking for
We’re not looking for someone who ticks every box. What matters most is that you bring the right commercial mindset, media understanding and drive to make a real impact.
You’ll enjoy this role if you:
- Have experience in media sales, advertising, business development, partnerships or a related commercial environment.
- Enjoy selling, developing new business and closing deals.
- Are commercially driven and motivated by achieving ambitious revenue targets.
- Can confidently pitch, negotiate and build relationships with brands, agencies and media partners.
- Have experience creating commercial proposals, business cases or pricing models.
- Are comfortable managing the full sales cycle, from identifying an opportunity through negotiation to implementation.
- Enjoy developing new products and finding creative ways to generate new revenue.
- Can manage several projects and stakeholders while keeping a strong commercial focus.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and collaborative environment.
- Communicate confidently in both German and English.
It would be great if you also bring:
- Experience within DOOH, digital media, retail media, advertising or experiential marketing.
- Knowledge of the German and Austrian media landscape.
- An established network of brands, agencies or media partners.
- Experience launching new media products or developing strategic commercial partnerships.
