HR Operations Coordinator

Position Summary
The HR Onboarding Coordinator leads all workforce mobilization and onboarding activities for employees, contractors, subcontractors, and temporary workers supporting data center construction operations. This role ensures a seamless, compliant, and efficient onboarding experience while maintaining site access and workforce readiness requirements.
Position Details:
Hourly position based upon experience & skill level
Contract with possible contract extension or hire
Standard work hours: Mon-Fri 7:00am-4:00pm (Saturdays when needed)
Location: Customer Site - Holly Ridge, LA 71269
Key Responsibilities
Workforce Mobilization
- Manage end-to-end onboarding for all new hires and contractors.
- Coordinate workforce ramp-up activities during project phases.
- Track onboarding schedules and hiring forecasts.
Pre-Employment Processes
- Oversee background checks, drug screenings, I-9 verification, and employment documentation.
- Ensure completion of all required onboarding paperwork.
- Verify certifications, licenses, and training credentials.
Site Access & Credentialing
- Coordinate site badging and access requirements.
- Manage workforce credentialing processes.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and site-specific requirements.
Orientation & Training
- Facilitate new hire orientation programs.
- Coordinate safety training and compliance certifications.
- Partner with EHS and Operations teams to ensure workforce readiness.
Compliance & Audit Management
- Maintain onboarding records and compliance documentation.
- Prepare onboarding audit reports.
- Monitor onboarding KPIs including completion rates and time-to-productivity.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required, Bachelors Degree in Administrative or Human Resource major preferred
- 5-7 Years HR and Onboarding experience in a construction or manufacturing industry
- Self starter with a drive for continual learning
- Drive to take initiative
- HR Certifications preferred
