About the department

The International Digital Projects Legal Team provides comprehensive strategic advice to Franklin Templeton’s Digital Assets business, from navigating emerging regulatory regimes for DLT and cryptoassets to providing legal support across the full lifecycle of a digital initiative, from ideation to delivery. The team leverages ad-hoc support from the wider International Legal Team in key jurisdictions on a project-by-project basis.

Sitting in London, the candidate will form part of the EMEA legal team, of approximately 40 colleagues across Edinburgh, London, Poland, Luxembourg, Dublin, Dubai and India. This Senior Corporate Counsel supporting digital projects will work closely with colleagues in other roles, both legal and non-legal, and stakeholders at all levels of the international business. They will also offer guidance to the Corporate Counsel in the team (who will report to the Senior Corporate Counsel) and support that person’s development.

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic ‘go getter’ who is willing to roll their sleeves up and work as a team to deliver for a particularly innovative and strategically important part of Franklin Templeton’s global business.
