IBMC is assisting a high-growth International Nutrition & Wellness Portfolio Company. The company owns and operates a diverse portfolio of consumer health and performance nutrition brands across e-commerce, marketplaces, quick commerce, and offline retail. As part of its strategic international expansion, the company is establishing its on-ground commercial footprint in Indonesia.

We are seeking resourceful, field-oriented Business Operations / Business Development Specialists to drive on-ground business operations, vendor sourcing, and distribution outreach across Indonesia. Operating initially from Canggu, Bali, you will serve as the primary commercial engine establishing local vendor networks, building relationships with retail stores and distributors, and supporting sales operations. This role demands high ownership, field mobility across Indonesia, and close collaboration with the overseas leadership team.

Working Location & Setup

• Location: Canggu, Bali, Indonesia (On-site / Field-based, operating initially out of a co-working space).
• Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time (Minimum 2-year commitment preferred).

Key Responsibilities

• Vendor & Supplier Sourcing: Research, identify, onboard, and manage local vendors, service providers, and supply chain partners to support Indonesian operations.
• Local Outreach & Partnerships: Connect with relevant businesses, fitness/wellness communities, professionals, and retail stakeholders via both physical field visits and digital outreach.
• Store & Distributor Coordination: Coordinate directly with local retail stores, supermarket chains, and distribution partners to ensure product availability, account management, and smooth operational execution.
• Sales & Operations Support: Support end-to-end sales pipelines, track distribution metrics, and execute on-ground follow-ups to drive market penetration.
• Domestic Travel: Travel independently across key cities in Indonesia as required for vendor audits, store visits, trade meetings, and business development initiatives.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain vendor matrices, CRM contact databases, and operational trackers, providing regular updates and market insights to overseas stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in business operations, business development, sales support, distribution, or partnership management (Candidates with 2+ years of high-performing experience will also be considered).
• Market Familiarity: Deep understanding of Indonesia’s local business ecosystem, retail landscape, and distribution channels (Candidates currently residing in Bali are strongly preferred).
• Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken).
• Mobility: Fully comfortable and willing to travel independently across Bali and other regions in Indonesia for business development.
• Tech & AI Literacy: Working proficiency in Google Workspace and hands-on comfort using AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude) for market research, lead generation, and administrative speed.
• Key Attributes: High ownership, strong relationship-building capability, negotiation skills, and the ability to work autonomously as a field representative.
