We are looking for an experienced Services Coordinator to oversee the operations of our Stewarding & Cleaning Staff in 5* hotels/resorts in Athens. You will plan and supervise the activities of an extensive and diverse workforce to ensure the smooth and profitable running of business. You will be just as responsible for dealing with complaints as for scheduling, training and motivating all team members. The Services Coordinator must be able to guide the employees to work as a well-functioning team. Therefore, the ideal candidate will be a team player and an effective leader, able to set examples and foster a climate of cooperation. The goal is to enhance visitors' experience, thus strengthening the hotel's reputation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise work at all levels (stewarding, outdoor cleaning, public areas housekeeping, etc) and set clear objectives
• Plan activities and allocate responsibilities to achieve the most efficient operating model
• Communicate with representatives of the hotel when appropriate (address their complaints, find solutions to problems, offer information etc.)
• Deal with scheduling & training issues, shortages in staff or equipment, etc.
• Enforce strict compliance with health and safety standards

Requirements

• Able to work five (5) days per week in a rotating shift schedule inc. two (2) weekends per month
• Proven experience as Hotel Supervisor or relevant role in the Hospitality industry
• Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
• Working knowledge of MS Office; good knowledge of Excel is required
• Excellent customer service, decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Reliable with an ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
• Outstanding leadership skills and a great attention to detail
• Degree in Business Administration, Hotel/Hospitality Management or relevant field
