About the role:
Working as part of a multidisciplinary industry team, you will collaborate with Defence and the Defence industry to support the modernisation of Land C4 capability. You will contribute to the integration, testing and assurance of mission-critical systems that enable Defence operations, while helping shape future capability through systems engineering, verification and validation, and test and evaluation activities.

These roles are an opportunity for Systems Engineers who enjoy Test & Evaluation activities to 

work with operationally relevant systems, influence capability outcomes, and gain exposure across the full systems engineering lifecycle. Multiple opportunities now exist to join the team responsible for integrating, testing and assuring the complex command, control, communications and information systems that underpin Defence operations. Working within a consulting environment, you'll get hands on experience to bring together new technologies, validate mission-critical capabilities, and support the continuous evolution of the Land C4 ecosystem.

Note - these roles are primarily based in Adelaide, with the potential for relocation assistance from other states.

What you’ll be involved with:

• Developing and executing test and evaluation activities.

• Producing test plans, test procedures, verification artefacts and technical reports.

• Conducting system verification, validation and capability assurance activities.

• Analysing test results and providing evidence-based recommendations.

• Supporting the integration of current and emerging Land C4 products and systems.

• Identifying, investigating and resolving system integration issues.

• Supporting configuration management and maintenance of system baselines.

• Working with Defence stakeholders to evolve capability requirements and assess future solutions.

• Contributing to capability roadmaps, technical assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Collaborating with engineering, cyber, support, training and operational specialists to deliver best-for-Defence outcomes.

What we would like from you:

• An Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.

• Systems Engineering experience across Test & Evaluation (T&E), Verification & Validation (V&V), systems integration and capability assurance

• Previous Defence experience and an interest in test and evaluation activities.

• Hands-on experience developing and executing test plans, test procedures and verification activities, then analysing results and producing technical reports/recommendations.

• Experience contributing to engineering analysis, technical studies or engineering artefact development

• Familiarity with communications systems, spectrum management or related RF technologies will be advantageous

• Experience identifying and troubleshooting system/interface integration issues and supporting resolution.

• Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams including systems engineering, cyber, communications, training, support and operational stakeholders.

• Strong technical writing and stakeholder engagement skills, particularly working with Defence/customer engineering representatives.
